Clinical Expertise
Physician: Endocrinologist
As an endocrinologist, I have the privilege to care for people with diabetes mellitus, various metabolic conditions, and hormonal disorders. I work at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, and have the distinct honor to serve those who have sacrificed for us. My clinical niche within the field of endocrinology is treating diabetes using diabetes devices, including insulin pump and continuous glucose monitoring systems.
Academic Leadership
Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine
I serve as clinical faculty at Baylor College of Medicine, in Houston, Texas. I have the wonderful opportunity to teach learners at various stages of training, from first year medical students, to residents in internal medicine, psychiatry, and geriatrics and fellows who are completing their final training in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism. I serve as the site director for the Endocrinology Fellowship Program at the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center.

I acted and behold, service was joy.” Along my personal and professional journeys, I have realized that the greatest sense of fulfillment is derived from sharing my skills and passions with others. I am excited to share my love of dance, yoga, healthy eating and lifestyle habits with my community.
